User Experience Design and User Interface Design (UX and UI)

Design is not simply decorating. It is solving problems while making the solutions visually appealing. UX is the solution, while UI makes the UX look visually appealing.

User Experience (UX)

Good UX takes a long term view of the user and incorporates empathy, creativity and usability to create digital experiences that are functional. The focus is always user–centric. We remove the unwanted and refine the needed. We make the user's journey intuitive.

We analyze and research your competitors, find gaps in their offerings and fill in those gaps for your product. We do not assume. We test, redesign, retest and only then deliver a product that has the desired user experience.

User Interface and Branding (UI)

The art of being pixel perfect is not enough for us. The look and feel of our designs are equally important. We tell your story. We use words, images, color, typography and layout as our language. The goal is to give the user a positive emotional experience without compromising on the functionality.

Good UI is not form over function. It is form and function.

How we do it

  • We provide a listening ear. We step in your shoes and listen to your needs, wants and expectations.
  • We research the market and interview the end users. We then analyze all data and present you with wireframes. We encourage you to involve a few end users.
  • Depending on the circumstances, wire frames may be a good old cup of coffee with a white board with doodles or it could be a fancy digital presentation.
  • We collectively keep the good and weed out the bad. Our goal is to provide what your user wants and not what you THINK they want. We may agree to disagree. We’ll let the user be the judge.
  • We then present you with a clickable prototype or in plain words, a dummy product that you and your users can play around with. At that point you should be able to clearly see your own “vision”. Once the prototype has been perfected, we hand over to the development team to publish your story.
